Long-acting reversible contraception (LARC)
Long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) options include:
- Intrauterine Device (IUD) – hormonal and non-hormonal IUDs (coils)
- Implant
- Injection
The IUD and Implant are available at our clinics for all patients requiring contraception. Both our doctors and nurses can provide or fit these LARC methods when you arrange a pre-booked visit.
We do not require a referral as long as your GP is registered or you live in EN1, EN2, EN3, N9, N11, N13, N14, N18, N21.
Many local GPs offer LARC Procedures as part of their service however, our clinics will offer LARC procedures to those whose GP is not currently able to deliver the service.
